Matt Watkins- World’s Greatest Shave
For those who don’t know Matt personally- you will certainly recognise him! Matt is a pitcher in our Division 1 team and on 27th March 2018 will be shaving off his beard, which he has been growing for four years. Matt is raising funds for the Leukaemia Foundation as part of the World’s Greatest Shave.

Ash Sanderson- Chops Her Locks
Ashleigh is a treasured member of the Goodwood Baseball Club family- Ash’s dad Brian is our Division 2 coach and her boyfriend Luke is a pitcher in our Division 2 team.
For the past three years Ash has been growing her hair with the intention of donating it to be made into a wig for those suffering from medical conditions such as cancer or alopecia. In the next few weeks between 35 – 40cm will be cut off and donated through Sustainable Salons Australia who provide all donations to Variety Children’s Foundation. Along with donating more than half of her hair, Ash is raising money for the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation.
